snccharlotte's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ex-Girlfriends And Bunny Rabbits I'm still alive. I've just been busy. Things that are going on in my life this week...hmmm.... Okay we'll get the bad stuff out of the way so this entry can end on a happy note. People at work are full of shit. Every last one of them. I trust absolutly no one now. Not even Lacey, who I could probably trust the most. I like her a lot and I think she's an awesome kid, but this place has gone beyond petty. I want to leave so bad. I asked Shelly to just switch me departments so I didn't have to leave Best Buy (believe it or not, I've grown fond of the store), yet I've had no response to that request. Mike came up to me once and said if he gets more labor he wants me to come work for him in appliances. I got excited because Kim (the hostess lady from Bob's) works there and she's so cool. I would get along with her in a heartbeat. Yet that was the last I heard of that as well. I've decided that if I haven't switched departments by January, I'm leaving Best Buy. I just need to stay through Christmas so I have some money to spend. Jim and I are planning a Christmas Disneyland vacation, and I really want to go. I made Jamie really sad last night as we were closing because he was being an asshole and I snapped,"Whatever happened to my Jamie? I want my old Jamie back, not this asshole Jamie you are now. I know you better than that, so what the hell is wrong with you lately? Best Buy's gotten to fucking everyone now." Jamie just looked sad and he walked away. Yeah sure, he'll probably run to Shelly and tattle on me saying that I called him an asshole. Oh well. I'm basically pissed at work because my hours are getting cut, and people I've trained are getting full-time hours. What the hell is that about? It just pisses me off. I had a shitty week, starting with our drive down to Montclaire. First off Tyler and Joey were being assbags, so I wasn't happy with that. Then some fucking AT&T guy somehow talked Jim into getting a plan, and having me jump on it too. I was pissed because I wanted to shop around for my next plan, and decide for myself what I wanted, but Jim got the AT&T crap. Plus my phone number is a "909"......what the fuck?! Next morning Jim goes down to Paramount to go and see his friends. Great. He's never driven down the hill before, plus as an extra special bonus for me he wants to go and see Stephanie, his ex-girlfriend. Yay! So while I'm panicking all day at work, he's down there. So to calm myself down, I make plans with Lacey to go and see a movie after work. I figured Jim wouldn't be home until late. Nope! Jim shows up right as I get off work telling me he came home early to take me to dinner. So we go and eat, I yell at him, he realizes (again) I'm a jealous girlfriend, and we all have a happy ending. Now for the good stuff. Jim and I did talk about how him going to see her makes me uncomfortable and he said she's just a "friend". I told him that regardless of the current status, to a present girlfriend an ex-girlfriend (or crush for that matter) will always be an ex-girlfriend. There's no getting around it. I don't like feeling second best, and I don't like the idea that some girl is hugging my boyfriend for ten minutes while I'm worrying my ass off. It's not appropriate in my mind. If you're in a relationship with someone you respect them. It's not respectful to go and see an ex-girlfriend if you're aware that your girlfriend is uncomfortable with it. It's hurtful. He didn't see her because she wasn't home or whatever but he did attempt to. He went to her house, and that's enough to anger me. I understand the fact that she's his "friend" now or whatever but like I said she will always be an ex-girlfriend. If that makes me jealous, so be it. I got a bunny rabbit the other day! She's a little dwarf, and has white fur and white paws. Her ears are gray and she has a little gray spot under her eye that looks like a tear-drop. I named her Magic, even though Joey tried to say it was a dumb name. It's a cute name for a bunny rabbit. You know, you pull rabbits out of a hat, and it's magic.....? Maybe I'm the only one who gets it. Next on my list is a kitten. Wish me luck tonight at work. With any luck, I'll swindle someone into signing up for a "free" magazine subscription and people will like me again!
